Layered Terrain at the Mars North Pole

Was there Water on Mars
This is a very impressive scientific video that talks about some spectacular results of ESA’s Mars Express Mission. The Mars Express provided further evidence that water once flowed on Mars. The high resolution camera called HiRISE discovered a huge frozen sea just below the surface of Mars, and provided more information about volcanic, glacial and geological activity. Mars Express also helped to dispell the myth related to the image taken by the Viking Orbiter in 1976, known as “face on Mars”. ESA’s scientists say there is no doubt that the “face on Mars” is not of alien origin. The facts are that the famous “face on Mars” is an ilusion, and a natural geological information.
